A new batch of 2.5 ton lithium battery electric locomotives has been shipped overseas, marking another milestone in our international supply. These locomotives use advanced lithium battery technology, offering safer and more efficient underground transportation.

Each 2.5 ton lithium battery electric locomotive is powered by a 51.2V 315Ah lithium battery. Compared to traditional lead-acid batteries, lithium batteries deliver faster charging, longer lifespan, and higher energy efficiency. This makes them ideal for continuous use in demanding mining environments.

The locomotive is designed for narrow rail tracks and small-scale mining tunnels. With a traction capacity of around 20 tons, it is perfectly suited for short-haul material handling. The gauge can be customized, with the minimum gauge down to 457 mm, meeting different underground rail conditions.

The lithium battery pack is not only compact but also provides consistent power, reducing downtime. These features enhance safety and improve daily operations for mine workers.
